POSITION OVERVIEW

The role of the Director, Brand Education is to have a passion for education and driving results. The candidate must be well-versed in field sales and education and have a strong pulse on the needs of the team and business. The Director, Brand Education will own global strategy in brand education, team development and retailer support. They will drive global needs and execute a wide range of requests that support the brand cross-functionally. They should possess effective communication skills, execute timely reporting practices, and build collaborative relationships, while remaining open to feedback and solution-oriented mindset. Excellence in client service, field sales and execution, and working in an entrepreneurial environment is critical to the success of this role.


OWNERSHIP

  • Drive field training & content to support brand objectives & sales KPI’s
  • Owns the global education strategy and execution
  • Strategizes with VP, Field Sales on education needs & field activation
  • Owns consistency in brand education verbiage & technique
  • Partner with Sales (Domestic/International) for gratis planning by account & region
  • Owns communication, planning & execution of education in global retailers
  • Owns execution of gratis by account globally
  • Owns the education development of global trainers & field team
  • Partners with internal cross-functional team to drive brand strategy
  • Provides education support for all internal teams
  • Lead and facilitate high level masterclasses/events (virtual/non-virtual)
  • Oversee and execute Global Field Summits/Meetings
  • Oversee all tester/gratis planning for global field
  • Owns operational management for the department
  • Create and deliver webinar training (based on needs) for global field team
  • Manage, support and facilitate live selling and masterclass events
  • Owns strategic partnership, strong communication and maintaining relationships with retailers
  • Partner with social media department to align on education activations/scheduling/requests
  • Oversees all education content (video/photo) assigned to the team
  • Owns trend driven content to support sell-thru and field activation
  • Owns assigning/managing field team homework
  • Support education field team calls with agendas/celebrations/facilitation
  • Coordinate, prep & facilitate new hire/brand trainings (corporate/retailer/field)
  • Coordinate, prep & facilitate internal trainings for individual development needs (field)
  • Owns education & artistry interviews and approval
  • Owns the education budget & tracking
  • Partner with HR for new hire on-boarding
  • Craft brand education content (written/photo/video)
  • Craft content for global retailer e-learning platforms & training needs
  • Partner with Field Sales & Marketing for field collateral concept & execution
  • Oversee execution of Anastasia personal appearance masterclasses
  • Owns all field & retailer agendas/scripts/facilitator guides


COMPETENCIES

  • 5-10 years of cosmetic retail experience, preferably in field sales and education roles
  • Ability to work remotely with efficiency
  • Demonstrates strong time management and sense of urgency
  • Driven to achieve results
  • Ability to take direction and execute accordingly
  • Ability to organize and create content effectively
  • Ability to train in person and through virtual training
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive/effective business partnerships

Anastasia Beverly Hills offers a competitive compensation package with full benefits and a 401(K) plan with matching contributions from the company. The starting base salary range for this position in the selected city is $105,000.00- $120,000.00 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and geographical location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role is bonus eligible.
